#0005 Ocean Spray, 20 (24) oz/566 g
#0008 Misty Taupe, 14 (18) oz/396 g
Use 1 strand each color yarn for MY
Use 2 strands of Ocean Spray together for CC
KEY PLATEUSM/ISM KP#4 or appropriate tension to obtain gauge
Suitable for USM/ISM/Bond Classic or 6.5 to 9 mm knitting machine

Yarn needle
GAUGEIn Stockinette stitch using USM/ISM KP#4 and 2 strands of yarn held together, 14 sts and 18 rows = 4”/10 cm
STITCHES USEDStockinette stitch (St st)
NEEDLES REQUIRED: 76 (96)
BACK 
  • Using WY, CO 76 (96) sts. K 6 R. Break off. Change to MY. COR. RC=000. 
  • Hem: K to RC=012. Hang first row of MY sts onto ndls. K 1 R slowly.
  • K to RC=106 (108) and mark both sides for armhole.
  • Cont to RC=154 (164).
  • BO center 24 (30) sts for back neck. BO rem 26 (33) sts on each side or put on WY for seaming.
FRONT
  • Using WY, CO 36 (49) sts. K 6 R. Break off. Change to MY. COR. RC=000.
  • Hem: K to RC=012. Hang first row of MY sts onto ndls. K 1 R slowly.
  • K to RC=90 (92).
  • Neckline: Dec 1 st at neck edge of next row and then every 6 (4) rows 5 (7) times, then every 7 (5) rows 4 (8) times.
  • At RC=106 (108) mark outside edge for armhole.
  • At RC=154 (164) BO rem 26 (33) sts or put on WY for seaming.
  • Make a second front with reverse shaping.
SLEEVES (knit from shoulder down)
  • Seam fronts to back at shoulders.
  • With WS facing front, hang garment on 74 (88) sts between markers. Use MY and set RC to 000. Knit first R by hand or very slowly.
  • K to RC=010. Dec 1 st ea side of next row and then every 7 (8) rows 6 (1) time(s), then every 6 (7) rows 1 (6) time(s) - 58 (72) sts. RC=059 (061).
  • Cont to RC=082 (086).
  • Change to CC and K to RC=105 (109).
  • BO back stitch.
FRONT BAND
  • Using closed CO Method and CC, CO 20 sts. COR.  RC=000. 
  • K to RC=142 (152) and mark both sides.
  • K to RC=167 (182) and mark both sides.
  • K to RC=308 (334) and BO.
FINISHING
  • Seam side and sleeve seams.
  • Turn cuffs to inside along color change and tack in place. 
  • Seam Front Band to opening matching shoulder seams and marks.
  • Fold Front Band in half and turn to inside of jacket. Tack in place along seam.
  • Weave in ends.
  • Roll up cuffs to desired length.
