BODY (make 2)
  • Using closed CO Method (Chain CO), CO 80 (85, 95, 100, 110) sts. COR. RC=000.

  • Rehang "bumps" from under sts next to NWP ndls onto ndls. Place all ndls in FWP.
  • K 2 R. RC=054 (058, 062, 062, 068). Leave long yarn end for finishing.
  • Take off on WY.
YOKE (make 2)
NOTE: Yoke pieces are worked side to side, beg and end at lower edge of Sleeve.
  • Using closed CO Method (Chain CO), CO 40 (40, 40, 45, 45) sts. COR.
  • K 2 R. Reset RC=000.
  • Begin Tuck Lace st. Work to RC=033 (036, 039, 042, 049).
  • Shape Neck: (Note: The first 6 ndls on the right-hand side will be worked in St st to form a rolled neckline.) On right-hand side only, change 2 NWP ndls to WP. Rehang "bumps" from under sts next to NWP ndls onto ndls so they are in WP.
  • Cont in Tuck Lace st (6 ndls in WP (St st) at right-hand side). Work to RC=081 (084, 090, 093, 101).
  • Return 2 ndls (5th and 6th) to NWP.

  • Bind off loosely in Chain stitch.
FINISHING
Note: RS of piece faces out for Body and WS of piece faces out for Yoke (see photo).
  • Mark 2" in on both sides of Yoke (long sides without St st) for Sleeves.
  • Join Body to Yoke: With WS facing, hang marked Yoke edge on 80 ndls (evenly spacing between marks). On top of Yoke sts, hang sts from one body piece (on WY of Yoke) with WS of Body piece facing out.
  • K 1 R by hand and BO with back stitch.
  • Repeat for other Yoke and Body pieces.
Sew shoulder seams tog, leaving St st area open for neckline. (Note: It will roll naturally.)
  • Sew side seams.
  • Cut 2 pieces of yarn. Sew yarn in and out of Chain sts on very bottoms of Sleeves and gather slightly. Try on garment and adjust Sleeves to desired width, allowing for comfort and movement. Tie yarn to secure.
  • Using Embellish Knit!, work 2 cords to fit around lower edge of Sleeves plus 2" extra to unravel to desired length. Using sewing ndl and thread, tack cords in place on very edge of Sleeve.
  • Using Embellish Knit! make a cord to fit around neckline plus 10" extra for tie. Tack in place under roll and tie at side (see photo).
  • Weave in ends.
  • Steam very lightly at bust seam line and lower edge.
