Assembly
Note: Assembly diagram is for reference only when assembling pieces; it is not shown to scale, nor does it show the number of Squares to be used (see below).
- Sew shoulder seams.
- Set in sleeves; sew side and sleeve seams.
Join Crocheted Squares
- Lower Front edge; join 2 strips of 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5) Squares ea.
- Side Fronts and lower Back edge; join 1 strip of 11 (11, 12, 13, 13, 14) Squares.
- Center Fronts and Back neck edge: join 1 strip of 8 Squares.
- Sleeves; join 2 strips of 2 Squares ea.
- Pin strips of squares to jacket, easing to fit; add or subtract Squares as needed to achieve the amount of fullness you want along the edges.
- Join strips where they meet as shown on diagram.
- With WS facing, using hook and sc, join squares to jacket.
- Work 1 row Picot edging around all edges.
Using yarn needle, weave in ends.
