MATERIALS
Caron International’s Bliss (60% Acrylic, 40% Nylon, 1.76oz/50g, 82yds/75m): #0007 Merlot, 9 (11, 12, 14, 15) balls
KEYPLATE and NEEDLES
USM/ISM KP#4, or size to obtain gauge
One circular needle each size 8 and 10 (5 and 6mm), 24" long, for Collar

Suitable for USM/ISM/Bond Classic or 6.5 to 9mm knitting machine

In Stockinette stitch, using KP#4, 13 sts and 20 rows = 4"/10 cm

NOTE
Side shaping will not be completed for some sizes before Neck shaping begins.
BACK
  1. Using KP#4 and closed CO Method, CO 63 (69, 77, 83, 89) sts. COR. RC=000.
  2. Shape Sides: Dec 1 st ea side on Row 3, then every 26 rows 2 times—57 (63, 71, 77, 83) sts rem; RC=055. 
  3. K to RC=080 (all sizes). Reset RC=000
  4. Shape Armholes: BO 3 (4, 5, 6, 7) sts at beg of next 2 rows. 
  5. Dec 1 st ea side EOR 4 (5, 6, 6, 7) times—43 (45, 49, 53, 55) sts rem. 
  6. K to RC=038 (040, 042, 044, 046).
  7. Shape Shoulders and Neck: BO 8 (9, 11, 13, 14) sts beg of next 2 rows—27 sts rem. 
  8. Place rem sts on WY for Back neck.
FRONT
  1. Follow Steps 1 and 2 as for Back, and AT THE SAME TIME,  
  2. K to RC=48 (50, 52, 54, 56)—59 (65, 73, 79, 83) sts rem.
  3. Shape Neck: Place center 9 sts on WY—25 (28, 32, 34, 37) sts ea side. COR. 
  4. Place LHS ndls in HP. 
  5. Dec 1 st at neck edge ER 4 times, then EOR 5 times, and AT THE SAME TIME, complete side shaping—15 (18, 22, 25, 28) sts rem.
  6. K to RC=080 (all sizes). Reset RC=000
  7. Shape Armholes: Work Steps 4 and 5 as for Back—8 (9, 11, 13, 14) sts rem for shoulder.
  8. K to RC=038 (040, 042, 044, 046).
  9. BO rem sts.
  10. COL. Rev shaping for opposite side.
SLEEVES
  1. Using KP#4 and closed CO Method, CO 28 (28, 30, 30, 32) sts. COR. RC=000
  2. Shape Sleeve: Inc 1 st ea side at Row 10 (8, 9, 6, 8) and then every 11 (8, 7, 6, 5)rows 4 (6, 7, 9, 10) times – 38 (42, 46, 50, 54) sts. RC=054 (56, 58, 58, 60, 58)   .
  3. K to RC=064.
  4. Shape Cap: BO 3 (4, 5, 6, 7) sts at beg of next 2 rows—32 (34, 36, 38, 40) sts rem. 
  5. Dec 1 st ea side EOR 12 (11, 10, 10, 10) times—8 (12, 16, 18, 20) sts rem.
  6. BO 0 (2, 3, 4, 5) sts at beg of next 2 rows—8 (8, 10, 10, 10) sts rem.
  7. BO rem sts.
FINISHING
Block pieces to measurements.  Sew shoulder seams. 
COLLAR (work by hand)
With RS of facing, beg at right shoulder using smaller circular ndl, pick up and knit 134 sts around neck shaping, including sts on holders; pm for beg of rnd. Beg 1 x 1 rib; work even until piece meas 2 1/2" from pick-up rnd. Change to larger circular ndl; work even until piece meas 5" from pick-up rnd.
BO all sts loosely in rib.
Set in sleeves; sew side and sleeve seams.
Weave in ends.
Belt (optional)
CO 4 sts for every inch of width desired and work 5 rows for every inch of length desired. BO. Attach ends to belt hardware.
