Note 1: Sleeves are designed to be a bit longer than traditional sweaters. If you prefer standard-length sleeves, eliminate 2" or 12 R from the length of the sleeve.
Note 2: We recommend working Collar by Hand. Instructions for Machine Knit Collar are also given.
GAUGE: Using USM/ISM KP#3 in st st with MY: 16 sts and 22 R = 4”/10cm

Stockinette stitch (st st): Knit side = RS

BACK and FRONT [Both alike]
1. Beg LHS, using closed (or latch tool) cast-on method and CC, CO 78 (82, 88) sts. RC=000. COR.
2. K to RC=070 (074, 078). Reset RC=000.
3. Shape Armhole: BO 4 (4, 5) sts beg next 2 R. 70 (74, 78) sts rem.
4. Dec 1 st ea side ER 2 times, then EOR 2 times. 62 (66, 70) sts rem.
5. K to RC=034 (036, 038). COR.
6. Shape Neck: Remove center 30 sts to WY.
7. Push ndls to LHS to HP. 16 (18, 20) ndls in WP.

2. Machine knit collar only: Join left shoulder seam. Hand knit collar only: Join both shoulder seams.
3: Pick up stitches for collar (see hand or machine instructions below) and knit collar.
4. Machine knit only: join right shoulder seam.
5. Set in sleeves.
6. Sew sleeve and side seams, rev seam at lower edges to allow edge to roll naturally to RS. Weave in ends.

3. Work in Garter st for 14 R.
4. BO.
1. Join right shoulder seam.
2. With WS facing, pick up 8 sts from Left Front neck shaping, 30 from Front neck WY, 8 from Right Front neck shaping, 8 from Right Back neck shaping, 30 from Back neck WY and 8 from Left Back neck shaping. 92 sts.
3. Work in Garter st for 14 R.
4. BO.
COLLAR [Hand Knit]
1. With RS facing, using circular ndl, pick up and k 92 sts around neck shaping, including sts on holders.
2.. Work in Garter st until Collar measures 1 3/4" from pick up rnd.
