Wrap measures 14" wide by 61" long 
MATERIALS: Ultimate Sweater Machine®
Caron International's Simply Soft Shadows (100% acrylic; 3 oz/85g, approx 150 yds/137m ball): #0001 Pearl Frost, 4 balls
Cable needle (cn)
crochet hook, size US G-6 (4 mm)
yarn needle

GAUGEIn Stockinette stitch using #2.5 keyplate: 16 sts and 22 rows = 4”/10 cm
STITCHES USEDStockinette stitch (St st): Knit on RS, purl on WSSingle crochet (sc)
NEEDLES REQUIRED: 55
ALSO NEEDEDTransfer tool, 1 prong transfer tool, 3 prong transfer tools (2)
9-STITCH BRAIDED CABLE:
  • COR.  Remove sts 1,2,3 and sts 4,5,6 onto two 3-prong transfer tools.  
  • Place sts 1,2,3 onto ndls 4,5,6 and place sts 4,5,6 onto ndls 1,2,3.  
  • Push all needles up to FWP and K 1 R.  K 5 more rows.  COR. 
  • Remove sts 4,5,6 and 7,8,9 onto two 3-prong transfer tools.
  • Place sts 7,8,9 onto needles 4,5,6 and sts 4,5,6 onto needles 7,8,9.
  • Push all needles up to FWP and K 1 R.  K 5 more rows.  COR. 
Repeat above 6 steps for cable patt.
WRAP 
  • Using, KP#2.5 and closed CO Method, CO 55 sts. COR. RC=000.
  • K 5 R. Put ndls # 6, 11, 21 (RS) and # 5, 10, 20 (LS) into NWP by transferring sts on those ndls to ndls to the right. K 1 R. 
  • Work three 9-Stitch Braided Cable pat st on stitches 12-20 on RS and stitches 11-19 on LS plus center 9 sts. 
  • Cont to RC=336. K 1 R. Put NWP ndls to FWP and pick up “bump” under ndl to the right to place on those ndls.
  • K 5 R. BO
FINISHING
Weave in ends.Edging: Work 1 round in sc evenly around wrap, working 3 sc in each corner. Work 3 more rounds sc, alternately working in the back loop only and the front loop only of every st, working 3 sc in each corner st. Fasten off.
